Who can join Compass?

Membership is open to all organisations or individuals with a commitment to development education at primary level, for example:

• Primary school teachers
• School principals & board members
• Parents
• Educators
• NGOS
• Primary sector organisations

Why join Compass?

Skills
- training for teachers and educators in how to bring world issues into the classroom - without extra hours at work

Resources
- quickly find out what resources are out there, how to use them and where to get them. Free copies of resources are sometimes available to members.

Contacts & Ideas
- find out what organisations are going into the classrooms and what issues are they dealing with; learn new approaches

Support
- share ideas and experiences with others

Information
- on events, training opportunities, global justice issues and more

Influence
- full members inform and shape the work of Compass and its role in
promoting development education.

How to join Compass?

There are two types of Compass membership, full and associate.

Full Membership
This entitles attendance and vote at regular meetings as well as the benefits listed above.
Costs:

• Organisation (annual income over €100,000): €100
• Organisation (annual income under €100,000): €50
• Individual: €25

Associate Membership
This entitles receipt of information as well as the benefits listed above.
Costs:

• Organisation: €30
• Individual: €15
