Who: Past participants have come through VSO, VMM, GOAL, Viatories Christi, Irish Aid (UNVs/JPIs/RRC's), Hope foundation, MMM, VLM, Friends of Londiani, Ripple Africa, Progressio,SERVE and many more). Participants include volunteers and development workers not only with the larger sending organisations but with the smaller ones too and people who chose to go overseas independently of a sending organisation.The weekend is open to anyone who have worked or volunteered overseas for 3 months+ in a development/humanitarian/aid or human rights capacity.
What else?: Facilitation is by Comhlámh staff and returned development workers; Participatory group format (individual, small group and large group sessions); Social gathering on Sat night optional;
