Comhlámh offers a range of courses designed to increase the capacity of individuals and groups to engage in development education and campaigns on issues of global justice.

 

Upcoming courses include:

• Coming Home Weekend Oct 2011 - Open to returned volunteers/development workers who have been overseas for 3 months +
  
• Global Trade Course 2011 - Want to know more about global trade and development justice issues?
• Be the change: Skills in campaigning and changemaking - This course provides media and campaigning skills and looks at how to continue to be involved in the development and global justice sector while living in Ireland. Development activity is not just carried out in developing countries.
• Volunteering Overseas: Where do I start?- October/Novemeber 2011- a one-day workshop for anyone considering volunteering or working overseas for global developmen
• Skills in Development Education-for trainers and facilitators to learn about the participatory methods used in development education.

All courses use participatory methods so that participants gain experience as well as familiarisation with the issues. Comhlamh members receive a reduced fee on all courses.
